On November 9th 2021 we organized an online seminar for our Chinese audience together with Vetworks. 

Dr. Hilde Van Meirhaeghe, poultry consultant, Academic Adviser of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, 
University of Ghent, and President of the Belgian Hatcheries Association, gave a very interesting speech on “How to align the reproductive and intestinal tract for optimal egg production”. 

Dr. Van Meirhaeghe described the challenges and opportunities for egg production in 2021 and the performance and egg quality parameters for layers. Then she gave advice on the management in rearing for successful egg production, and finally she described the main diseases in layers and how to prevent and control them.
