In April 2019, a test in well-known layer farm in showed that the administration of GrowthPlus© was able to solve the digestive problems of layers and helped to recover the laying rate.
The experimental animals were in two houses:
GrowthPlus© was mixed in feed, given every day for 15 days.
Before the administration of GrowthPlus©, the layers had severe gut health problems: many animals had diarrhea; the droppings showed undigested feed, a green or orange color, and were softer than normal.
At the end of the test, there was a significant improvement of the occurrence of diarrhea and the feces were shaped, with a normal color.
Before the trial, necropsied layers showed lesions in gizzard. Moreover, their intestines were dark, with extensive irritation on the inside, signs of necrotic enteritis and thin intestinal walls.
At the end of the test, the color of the intestines was returning to normal and the intestinal walls were thicker. Irritation and signs of necrotic enteritis disappeared.
The gizzards of the necropsied animals were healthy.
Before the administration of GrowthPlus©, the laying rates of houses 7 and 8 were relatively stable, 91.08% and 93.38% respectively (average of the 15th days before the trial). After adding GrowthPlus©, the laying rate was 0.98 points and 0.09 points better than before the trial (average of the days of the test). During the 15 days after the test had finished, the laying rate increased significantly, 1.61 points and 1.32 points more than before the trial (average of the 15th days after the test) .
In this success case, administering GrowthPlus© for 15 days solved the gut health problems of the layers and increased the laying rate. The laying rate obtained GrowthPlus© surpassed the standard laying performance of the previous three years in the farm.
GrowthPlus© is added to feed to maintain and improve digestive health. It is formulated with synergistic ingredients:
It is especially useful in cases of gizzard diseases, necrotic enteritis, feed passage and other enteritis. It is also used as a natural growth promoter and to replace antibiotic growth promoters.
