Video: Too Hot to Eat: Why Ducks Stop Growing in the Heat

The video explains how heat negatively impacts broiler ducks by reducing their feed intake. Once temperatures exceed 24 °C, ducks begin to experience heat stress and eat less to avoid generating additional internal heat. This drop in intake slows growth, worsens feed conversion, and weakens their immune system. Increased water consumption can also impair nutrient absorption.
